EBSCOhost - problem with "Find this Article" links

UHD is experiencing technical problems with EBSCOhost research databases, such as Academic Search Complete, Business Source Complete, and ERIC. It is possible to search these databases, and also to view "Full Text" or "PDF Full Text" links, but we do not currently have access to the "Find this Article" option, which provides links to full text from databases not part of EBSCOhost content.

EBSCOHost Technical Support is investigating the problem, and we hope to have a solution soon. In the meantime, it may be necessary to use the List of Journals to see all full text options for each article in your search results.

Example:

    Title: The Economic Value of Bilingualism for Asians and Hispanics
    Authors: Shin, Hyoung-jin;
    Source: Sociological Forum; Jun2009, Vol. 24 Issue 2, p.254-275, 22p

To find this article, search the List of Journals for "Sociological Forum," choose the option that includes 2009 or "current," then search for the article title or author. For help, please call 713-221-8187 or Ask a Librarian.

Off-Campus Access Problem

We believe this problem has been fixed as of Thursday, February 1, at 10:30 am. If you continue to experience problems, please use Ask a Librarian to let us know.

We are currently experiencing a technical problem with off-campus access to library databases. If you are connecting from off-campus, you can still use any library database, but you may see an error messages if you try to connect to a full text article using a "check more databases" link. We are working with several vendors to find the source of this problem and to fix it. In the meantime, please check our Find Journals by Title page to see if the journal, magazine, or newspaper you need is available online. Links from that page continue to work.

We apologize for any inconvenience this problem may cause.
